Lots of Love and Generosity in Kalamazoo!
Monday, April 30, 2012 at 05:53PM On Saturday, April 22nd, we had our second annual Make Me Fabulous Event at the Four Points Sheraton in Kalamazoo. Women of all ages attend our event to get pampered with massages, mani’s, pedi’s, reflexology and many more. They also indulged themselves, by shopping local merchants they may not have known about in the area.
This year we expanded our location and added more vendors! We were so happy to welcome the ENTIRE STAFF and owner Ashley, of Golden Touch Salon out of Three Rivers, Owner Tracey and family from Kalamazoo Soap Co., Scentsy Independent Consultant Brandy Hall-Williams, Personals by Patrick (amazing jewelry), Co-Founder Kristine Couch’s jewelry line the Bead and Bangle, the McLain family crafts, cards by Aunt Georgia and Mandi Jackson from HQ Salon and Spa.
We welcomed back Jessica of One Minute Gourmet (yummy dips), Reflexions Plus who relaxed everyone with Nicole from Massage with Nicole, Premier Designs Independent Consultant Misty Dudgeon and Kali doing Tarot (THE hot ticket of the night!).
While our event lacked attendance, our guests made up for with extremely generous donations! After all the dust has settled and bills were paid, we still made $545.00!! All of you who attended are amazing and we/I could not do this without you! In five years this will be THE event to come to in the Kalamazoo area! I would like to personally thank the generosity of all of our volunteers for helping us with this event. A big thanks to Megan, Shaina and Abbey McLain-I look forward to working with you guys more as your time allows!
